Brik uses curriculum expectations to help you figure out where your students need more support. Use smart decisions based on data to teach in a way that helps each student be their very best.
Brik identifies expectations you should comment on for each student and even drafts the comment for you. Simply give your nod of approval or add a touch of your own flair with light edits if needed.
Brik makes it easy to track a student's progress toward every curriculum expectation, allowing you to share specific and actionable insights with parents.

The main concern most schools have is student safety and privacy. The Brik app was built with that concern in mind. In fact, no student data is collected or stored in the app besides first names.
Most school boards have a rigorous review process for apps students or parents access. Brik does not allow student or parent access, so this should not be a concern.
Finally, Brik does not integrate with your school or board's systems or tools. So there is no risk of data being sent where it shouldn't or integrations breaking in the future.
Since Brik is completely isolated from other school systems and does not allow student or parent access, teachers often don't need to run the Brik app through any official review process. Be sure to check your school or board's technology policy first, though.
The Brik app protects student data by not collecting it at all. We only ask for first names and grades—no last names, no student IDs, etc. For additional anonymity, we encourage you to sign up with a personal email address so your Brik data can't be connected to a particular school or school board.
You can, but you don't need to. Brik was designed with teachers in mind. That's why we automatically pause your subscription during the months of July and August. You'll still have full access to the app during those months, though, so feel free to log in and get ready for the new school year!
In short, no.
Our goal is to enable teachers by providing a full suite of tools backed by best-in-class customer support. To do this, we have opted to create a premium-only, ad-free experience for a few reasons.
Firstly, we don't want to impose artificial restrictions on the productivity breakthroughs our users can experience with Brik. To that end, we offer only a single plan with all features unlocked.
Secondly, we want to provide all of our users with the same premium customer support experience. If someone is struggling with the platform, we want them to be able to reach out to our team and know that we have their back the whole way. We wouldn't be able to offer this level of service to free users. And since we hate the idea of someone leaving Brik disappointed because there was no one to help them, we have opted not to offer a free plan.
Finally, knowing anyone could leave Brik for a free alternative keeps us motivated to create an incredible product for our users.
That being said, we feel our prices are competitive relative to the value Brik provides, and you have the option to choose between a monthly and annual subscription, depending on what works best for you.
Don't forget: all plans come with a free trial, so you can try it out before being charged.
If you feel Brik is not providing the value you expected, please reach out to billing@withbrik.com to request a refund. Your refund will be equal to your most recent payment if you're on a monthly plan or an amount equal to the unused portion of your subscription if you're on an annual plan.
Brik is short for "rubric", a way of articulating expectations for an assessment. It also calls to mind "bricks" which are used to build the structure of a building, in much the same way curriculum expectations form the foundation of a student's education.
Join the ranks of forward-thinking teachers who are revolutionizing the way they work.
